I was once asked to tell a joke at one of my daughter’s playdates. My mind went blank, so I searched online for the best knock-knock jokes for kids. I wanted to be prepared should the situation arise again. The intel also came in handy to reset moods in less-than-ideal situations like waiting for tables at restaurants and long road trips. Children aren’t that picky when it comes to these hilarious gems. While they can be corny, clean kid knock-knock jokes are great because laughter resets cranky moods and provides interaction between the teller and the guesser. Sure, the repetition can become ..read more

Thanks to the many choices available, selecting the best bento lunch box for kids can be overwhelming. Plus, some of these aren’t just for kids and have many practical uses. I love them for road trips and picnics. If you’re working from home or looking for ways to stay efficient, it may be easier to prepare lunch before the day starts. Why not put it in a bento lunch box so that it’s ready to go when the kids (and you) break to eat? This way, you’re not spending time on meal prep in the middle of the day when everyone is at home. Elevate your day on the sand and get a little more exercise with fun beach games. The entire family can play them. Most can be easily packed into a bag or come with their own carrying cases. Those that require an extra pair of hands to transport them to the sand are definitely worthwhile. Some, like the beach ball games, are versatile enough to play at the park or as backyard games. They’ll certainly come in handy at home while the kids are out of school. Plus, in a coastal community like San Diego, games are one way to unplug at the beach during the winter. Not everyone wants to get into the ..read more

As you may know, you can access VIP benefits at thousands of luxury hotels worldwide through my affiliation with Virtuoso. You can get rates for and book many of these hotels online, 24 hours a day. That way, you don’t need to wait for us to provide rates for you. Virtuoso can be a little tricky, however, because some hotel booking pages do not have mobile versions. It’s not ideal, I know. If you’re on a laptop or desktop, you’ll never notice this. I recommend you fire one of these up to make life easier while navigating the site. However, if you’re trying to search rates for or book a hotel o ..read more

We have been Medjet members for years, and it’s time I review why. Please read the rules and regulations before purchasing a Medjet membership, as benefits are subject to change at any time. If you buy a membership through links in this post, I may be compensated. Modern travel looks little like it did even a few short years ago. Whether you’re going to grandma’s for the weekend or jetting off to Europe for a summer vacation, traveling with a baby is going to require some sort of travel crib.  A comfortable and safe place for snoozing is essential for you and your family to have a pleasant vacation while your child is still young. Hotels provide cribs or Pack n’ Plays, but I’m finding that many parents are bringing their own portable cribs with them. One of the things that surprised us during our Egypt trip was how much we enjoyed EgyptAir business class. The majority of my photos are from our first flight from Athens to Cairo, but we also flew EgyptAir business class from Cairo to Istanbul and domestically between Cairo and Luxor. Check-In We checked in at Athens International Airport (ATH) with no lines at the EgyptAir business class counter or at customs. Our flight left from gate A19. The A gates do not have a Fast Track entry for customs or security but the only things that needed to be removed from our bags were iPads and lapt ..read more

We’re partial to British Airways which was our home airline when we lived in London. Over the years we’ve been pleased with their regional business class and, on our last set of flights, the food offerings were definitely improved hence the update to this British Airways Club Europe review. Club Europe Seats on Airbus A320 Short-Haul Flights The seats are the same width (18″), pitch (30″), and configuration (three on each side of the aisle) as they are in economy class. The difference is that the middle seat in business class is b ..read more
