A refined Japanese masterpiece – the hammered copper tea caddy from Monori. Since a while I was looking for the perfect container to stow away my tea leaves at home. Because in their original paper packaging they just look like Marie Kondo wouldn’t approve.
Monori – Hammered Copper Tea Caddy
Material: Copper (lacquered – does not tarnish over time) & steel
Size: 11 cm height x 9 cm diameter, 200 g capacity
Available at the Monori shop.

I grew up in the countryside in Upper Austria. Workwear didn’t inspire me back then but as soon as I arrived in the city areas the mindset for the simplistic – easy to wear & functional – garments grew. This farm boy inspired nanushka & Toogood Birkenstocks look is my favourite attire at the moment.

From architecture to boobpots and tittilamps. Anna Riess’ path has led her from pursuing architecture to create unique handmade art-pieces.
I finally had the chance to meet Anna in her studio in Vienna to see where the magic happens. Anna is super welcoming and we had deep philosophic chats – so make sure to visit here atelier and shop when you are around (Austellungsstraße 3 – 1020 Vienna). And of course I had to get one of her famous boobpots!
