A new photo has surfaced online featuring actor Josh Hartnett dressed up as Superman for a wardrobe test for Brett Ratner's scrapped Superman film project Superman: Flyby. This is the project that J.J. Abrams wrote the script for.
The costume shows us that this version of the Man of Steel would’ve sported a red Superman logo against a black background rather than yellow. This version of the logo was most notably used in the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons. As you can see, the “S” doesn’t really pop.
Several actors were considered for this role at this time including Henry Cavill and Bran ..read more

One of several projects that John Wick director Chad Stahelski has been working on is a reboot of the fantasy action film Highlander which Henry Cavill is set to star in. He’s been developing this project for years, and now we know when we can expect it to hit theaters. Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake recently revealed on their investor call that the film is aiming for a 2026 release date.
There’s no word on when the film will start production, but I imagine that it will be after Stahelski is finished with his adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima, which is most likely going to be hi ..read more

Fargo and Legion creator Noah Hawley has been in production on his upcoming Alien TV series for FX, but because of the actors’ strike, which recently ended, there’s only been so much that he can do. He has been shooting some of the series without its SAG-AFTRA members, but there’s a lot more that needs to be done because the lead actress Sydney Chandler, hasn’t been involved.
Hawley offered a recent update on the project and while talking with The Wrap, he explained:
