The upcoming cyberpunk video game Spine will be going beyond just gaming as developer Nekki has teamed with Story Kitchen to produce film and TV adaptations.
The game is “a female-led cyberpunk Gun Fu story set in a dystopian world. The main character, Redline, is an adventurous street artist battling against an autocratic AI regime -and its goons- to rescue her captive brother.”

Nickelodeon has released a new teaser trailer for its radical-looking animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This series was developed as a spinoff of the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and the series looks like it’ll be just as fun and entertaining as the movie.

The Walking Dead franchise continues to have a strong run on AMC. It is one of the main projects keeping the network thriving. It’s the most valuable property that they own, and they aren’t going to ditch it anytime soon.
Regardless, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman would love to do a faithful animated series one day, but until he gets the rights back from AMC, that won’t happen.

Bill Kong, the producer behind Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is developing a new action film titled The Furious, which he is hoping will reset and change the martial arts genre.
The English-language action thriller will be directed by Japanese stunt director and action choreographer Tanigaki Kenji from a script written by Mak Tin Shu, and it’s being produced by XYZ Films.

J.K. Rowling’s classic Harry Potter book series is getting a massive audiobook production from Amazon’s Audible and Pottermore Publishing.
All seven books will be recorded with a full cast that will consist of over 100 actors who will “bring these iconic stories to life as never heard before.”

The Cleopatra movie starring Angelina Jolie was announced over a decade ago, and it went through many phases of development, with several big names attached to create it, but it stopped just short of completion before ultimately being scrapped.
