Prints aplenty in the H&M showroom! H&M has collaborated with British heritage brand Morris & Co. to produce classic, affordable pieces featuring the most stunning signature prints. The Pimpernel print (worn by both Divine and I as seen in the image below) has got to be my favorite from the bunch. It was said to have been Morris’ personal favorite as well. I wouldn’t mind covering my future house in this print. Selected pieces from the collection will be available in H&M Philippines starting October 4th.   Love is enough: though the World be a-waning, And the woods ..read more

Raxenne x Basic Movement

The latest Basic Movement artist collaboration features none other than designer/illustrator Raxenne Maniquiz. I’m sure you’ve seen her and her work everywhere, and now you can wear them and bring them home in the form of covetable closet staples and high-quality prints. Best part about this collection? It was made with busty body types in mind. Fashion is often stereotyped as exclusive, but Raxenne and Esme prove that it doesn’t always have to be that way. Inclusion is always a good look. Available online on October 7th.   Follow Basic Movement on Instagram. The post Raxenne x Bas ..read more

Longchamp Amazone Launch

It was an honor to be one of the guests who toted around the newest Longchamp bag during last week’s event. The inspiration behind the French maison’s newest alpha it bag is something that I definitely aspire for. “Longchamp women are the 21st century Amazons,” says Sophie Delafontaine, creative director of Longchamp. “They own their femininity. I was thinking about them while creating this new line.” The brand celebrates women who defy the status quo. I don’t know if I’ve exacted enough changes in the world yet, but I’d love to one day be known as a woman who spent all her  life trying to do ..read more

Power Plant Mall’s new wing is one of the best things that ever happened this 2018. The long but rewarding wait for all the individual store renovations definitely made everything look extra covetable, and the shiny new Charriol store at the corner of the North Court (near Mango) is one to watch out for. Aside from featuring the latest selection jewelry and watches, it also houses bags and accessories. Here are some snaps from their opening party last April 20, 2018:   In the Philippines, Charriol is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) – a member of the S ..read more

Charriol: St-Tropez Mansart

Long time no OOTD! Posting this soft pastel look featuring the newest Charriol St-Tropez Mansart watch.   The ST-TROPEZ Mansart takes its name from Jules Hardouin-Mansart, one of the most influential European architects of the 17th century. His classical style is behind many of Paris’ famous buildings and squares, including the Place Vendôme. Designed in an octagonal shape, Place Vendôme is synonymous with a formal architectural beauty that has inspired artists, couturiers and moviemakers over the centuries. Still today, the elegance of this famous square lives on, inspiring the world ..read more

Mango: Polka-dots

With the slump I experienced last year, I would’ve have thought I’d be able to bounce back so soon. Experiencing another low is something I never want to happen again, especially with the kind of mental and physical anguish that paralyzes you and makes you feel so bad about yourself. For some reason, I always have a strange, nagging feeling that I’m running out of time. Wish I could make sense of it all, but for now, I decided to take control and use it to my advantage. Starting the year right with some cliche lucky polka-dots. Dragons aren’t forecasted to have the best fortune this Year of th ..read more

Charriol: Pont D’Amour

The mere idea of a bracelet that can’t be taken off without a key makes me so anxious, so you can just imagine the feeling of relief I got after seeing these Pont D’Amour screw bangles. The next best, most practical thing.      These cuff-style bracelets and rings embody French sophistication and honour the dreamy spirit of Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. The pieces in this contemporary collection blend polished metals with the texture of Charriol’s twisted cable motif. Available in blue, black stainless steel or rose or yellow gold PVD, the steel cable latched ..read more

Mango: Black Metallic Lace

Once in a while, I challenge myself to pull off certain things I wouldn’t normally wear, and try to make the whole outfit my own. As someone who’s often in dainty dresses and floral prints, the idea of wearing something as bold as black and metallic thread to a fall/winter trip to Korea would’ve initially seemed like a long shot. But as soon as I saw how the metallic thread was sewn so tastefully onto such a beautiful lace pattern, I knew it was going to be an easy feat. Meanwhile, keeping warm proved to be the main challenge of the whole trip. Oversized items make great winter essentials beca ..read more

(Disappearing for a long time without any warning is something so in character, it definitely warrants the sincerest apology from me. Here‘s an explanation. I’m very sorry!) My husband’s birthday and my maternal grandmother’s birthday fall on the same day. Last December 3, Rg turned 29, while my grandmother (whom we fondly call Nana) turned 90. I wore a new red-orange bow poplin blouse and emerald metallic skirt to a fancy dinner party at the very quaint Makati Garden Club. (Thankfully my new shoes didn’t have to be broken in! I didn’t realize my last pair of black strap heels that were also f ..read more
