Hello!
Has anyone gone through the interview process with Expeditors? Can you tell me what it was like? What questions they asked? I have one coming up and I'd really just like to be prepared for it, especially since I don't have a ton of experience (read barely any) in the field.
Additionally, since its in the customs department, if anyone has had a job interview with a similar company, please also share some tips. Thank you! ?

I have a bachelors degree and 2 years 11 months of full-time experience. I have just started a contract role where I am working 40 hours a week. Is this new role enough to meet the 3 years eligibility requirement?

The IMO has set a shipping decarbonization goal of 5-10% by 2030, and analysts are estimating that the cost of zero carbon shipping fuel will be around 4x the cost of fossil fuel in 2030, which will translate to a total cost of ownership/operation increase of around 2x (factoring in capital cost depreciation).
I'm curious to hear thoughts from supply chain people about how a 10-20% cost increase would affect their budgets.
I assume high margin consumer goods will be able to more easily absorb that kind of cost increase, whereas commodity goods will suffer.

I'm about to finish my Bachelor's in business administration and would like to start working in supply chain FAST. What certifications can you recommend that will help me get hired? My airline is paying for my Bachelor's and limited my options, so I can't afford to change my major to supply chain management. I planned on getting my masters in SCM, but I would like to work and gain hands-on experience first.
Also, I hope in the future my employer will pay for a masters degree in SCM. I already have a few certifications in mind but would love to hear about other people's experiences. THANK YOU ..read more

Hi all, my company has 5 distribution centres across the country. Apparently we are facing challenges with slotting, not enough slots to store all of our SKUs, and things are very tight. This is apparently because the merchandising team has introduced a lot of new SKUs in recent years, more than expected.
Do you guys face similar challenges, if so, how do you solve them?

I was approached via LinkedIn and did an 1 hour consulting meeting with them. They have asked for my information in order to pay the consulting fee. Has anyone ever worked with them in the past? They requested bank account details plus routing number via email (email account(s) look legit) With all the scams that are going on these days, just want to be cautious. Thanks!
