The City of St. Louis Emergency Management Agency (CEMA), a division of the Department of Public Safety, announces its plan to update and improve the city's outdoor warning system. A total of $3.9 million has been allocated toward the replacement and ongoing maintenance of this system.

Today, it was announced that the City of St. Louis is part of two different coalition groups among 60 selectees that will receive a total of $7 billion in awards through the Solar for All grant competition. The Biden-Harris Administration's Environmental Protection Agency announced the selectees to celebrate Earth Day.

Today, the Board of Estimate and Apportionment, which consists of Mayor Tishaura O. Jones, Comptroller Darlene Green, and President of the Board of Aldermen Megan Green, unanimously approved the recommendation of Mayor Jones's FY2025 Budget to the Board of Aldermen. The City of St. Louis Refuse Division would like to inform residents that the south drop off site located at 4100 South 1st Street will be closed from Monday, April 15, through Friday, April 26, 2024.
All residents must use the north drop off site located at 4124 North 1st Street during the closure of the south drop off site.
Citizens may drop off trash/recycling/yard waste Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am until 4 pm.
The south drop off site will reopen on Monday April 29, 2024.
