We have just received the fantastic news that we have received our Registered Group status with the International Saikei Association on the 21.01.2021.
This means that we have:
The ability to display their logo at events,
be promoted by the International Saikei Association on their website and in their magazine,
we will be recognised as a Group that promotes and assists enthusiasts with their studies into Saikei ..read more

The International Saikei Association have made all of their old the newsletters available for free download.
Saikei uses the techniques of bonsai with trees, rocks, moss, plants and aggregates to form complete landscapes within the confines of a tray. All you need to get started is a shallow pot, rock or rocks, soil, a small tree or small trees and imagination.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to announce the passing of Bernie Mighall on Saturday the 12th of April 2020. Bernie was one of the founder members of the group and a friend to many of the members, he always made time to talk and help anyone in the group, he was a very popular member and a regular exhibitor at our shows where he had a number of successful entries.
Bernie had been struggling with cancer, but he was positive all the way to the end and he passed peacefully and quietly in the hospice. Our thoughts are with Sheila his wife and the entire family.
