The Answer Is… No (But Don’t Worry) Costco no longer sells San Diego Zoo tickets or individual tickets to any theme parks. The theme park ticket section of their website has long since been deleted. How to Get to La Jolla, California: Guide to Public Transportation & Directions

My coastal community, La Jolla, is known for its rugged coastline, upscale boutiques, and fine dining. We also have one of the most photographed places in San Diego, La Jolla Cove, and the resident seals and sea lions that people drive in specifically to see. Our location can be a little confusing for tourists planning a vacation or residents driving in for a visit. This is because there are multiple ways to get here, trafficky times that can make your journey much longer than it needs to be, and the downtown area is 15-20 minutes from the I-5 freeway despite the distance being only about four ..read more

The first meal of the day is something that my seaside community does particularly well, which is why it’s hard to narrow down a list of the best breakfast restaurants in La Jolla, let alone rank them. Know that every spot on this list is excellent, and which one you choose depends on whether there’s a particular dish you’re craving, you’re aiming for a delicious breakfast or brunch, you need to be in a particular part of town, and the price point. Breakfast, brunch, or lunch… what’s the difference you ask? Well, we go by how each restaurant classifies its menu and what time the restaurant ope ..read more

I needed to connect in a major city before flying to Nice, and since I wanted to stay at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, I made this glorious city our stopover for several days. Why? I knew it would be special, based on everything I knew about the lengthy and meticulous steps it took to create this luxury hotel. Like many of you, I initially had difficulty deciding which Four Seasons in Boston to choose. But then I got lucky and needed a hotel in Boston on our recent trip’s front and back end, so I was able to stay in both. We chose Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston first because I thought its variety of in-house dining, Wellness Floor, and Back Bay location would best suit our initial needs. I knew we would be hotel-bound for the first few days as my daughter recovered from a volleyball tournament, and I wanted to try its award-winning spa. It’s more of a high-rise hotel in what feels like ..read more
