The Northern Ireland Bonsai Society was founded in 1986 by a small group of people interested in the wonderful art form of bonsai and realised the need for an organisation to promote and further it in this country. We are a society dedicated to spreading awareness and knowledge of these beautiful trees and bringing them to the attention of the General Public.

It was a really popular raffle this week and Alex was the lucky winner of the cotoneaster that had been generously donated ..read more

However that’s about to change as starting in the New Year they plan to start regular meetings and the guys involved are already hitting the socials to gather up the interested parties who live in that general area. It will be based in Galway City and I hope to be able to support them going forward. Give them a follow and if you’re in the Connaught area and are interested , give them a shout ..read more
