Welcome to my Blog! My name is Darrel Lang and I specialize in the Replication of Leather shot bags & Accouterments made in the colonies by the harness and saddle maker of the18th century. All items are hand sewn using waxed linen thread, dyed, then treated with neatsfoot oil & bee’s wax. The leather used is of veg. tanned cow hide 2-3 or 4-5 oz. weight.

I finally found a small throwing knife to go along with my small H&B hawk. I cleaned up the leather handle and checked the handle, dyed it and treated it with neat‘s foot oil. I made up a sheath for the knife and decided to make up a rig that carries both for the trade gun matches.

The customer provided their own bottle for this great looking leather covered water bottle. My wife does an outstanding job on covering the different bottle we have offered.
