Apologies for the newb. question here.
My knowledge of SAP is extremely limited.
I'm a consultant working on a project (.net) where we have an integration with SAP where we are sent data over Azure Service Bus, using the AMQP receiver adapter.
The Azure Service Bus has an address, like my-service-bus.azure<dot>com
The SAP team try to connect to this using AMQP
They enter the host, queue name, port, credentials, that sort of thing within SAP
However, they get an error
UnnownHostException
Name or service not known.
SAP is running on eu20.hana.ondemand.com
The IP addresses have been whit ..read more

Hi!
I want to get a list in SAP of all planned operations for today and tomorrow. But I don't get to see all the operations correctly. I am currently using IW37N and the earliest start date fields. The problem occurs with operations scheduled over a longer period. Suppose I call up the list today, I enter dates 25/04/2024 and 26/04/2024 in the earliest start date fields. When a step is scheduled for the whole week (so runs from 22/04/2024 to 26/04/20204) I don't get to see it in my list, even though it is scheduled.
How can I solve this, what fields can I use instead of the earliest start dat ..read more

Greetings,
We have integration with transporters in SAP. Although the inbound - event XMLs from the transporter are processed, it cannot print the event information. The reason seems to be that the document is currently locked. In order to correct this situation, is it possible to detect the events that are processed but cannot print and make a report that will automatically trigger again?
Thanks for your help,

Hi all, I'm Alexander, a management consultant with a decent amount of experience in SAP going as far back as the R/2 days! I noticed the reddit group the other day and thought I would join up.
I have a couple of articles over on SAP community, one on HANA and S/4HANA and another in depth article on the chart of accounts.

My core experience was always finance, but I've managed projects with SD, MM, BW and various other modules and add ons too and have a decent understanding.
Happy to connect and discuss SAP related topics with a ..read more

Is there a way to breakout or tie journal voucher entries to plant numbers? We are trying to figure inventory turns. Accounting uses transaction FS10N to pull the debits and credits but this does not show us what the inventory turn (debits/credits) are by each individual plant within the company. I've been trying to use the BSEG table but I'm not getting results for some reason. I've tried running BSEG wide open with just the company code and fiscal year but I literally get 0 results. What is the simplest form to get this info? There is a large amount of data (50+ plants, thousands of materia ..read more

Hello I just wanted to ask this community a question.
What is SAP s4/HANA ? My understanding is that it is the new version of SAP with its own database within the solution .
Can someone provide me with a full explanation?
Maybe some individual experience like what are the challenges which comes with a transition to s4/hana etc
Thanks in advance??

Hey guys,
Got a question about Joule, SAP's AI assistant.
Was the assistant developed from scratch or is it just a layer/wrapper on top of a core openAI offering?
Do we know what data it was trained on?
Thanks
