It’s the most wonderful time of year – back-to-school season!! I am a self-proclaimed back-to-school nerd! I love everything about back-to-school season and especially the school supplies list. The smell of new books and notebooks makes me smile. Nothing makes me happier than a brand-new agenda book – those beautiful empty pages just waiting for me to fill them with due dates, assignments, to-do lists a ..read more

Celebrating Womanhood by Stephanie Wolfe Women, my favorite topic!  Today I celebrate the glory of womanhood.  I love being a woman!  I love our curves, our clothes, and our common sense (sorry guys, but you know it’s true, just watch America’s Funniest Videos)!  I love that I love rom-coms and romance novels, flowers, and first kisses!  I love being married to the man of my dreams, and still feeling chosen, loved, and desired by my husband of 48 years. I love that we can grow a human being in our womb and feed it for months with our own body!  Nothing in this lif ..read more

Flossie FITNESS: Exercise the Old Fashion Way By Stephanie Wolfe, NBC-HWC Exercise is an activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness.  Words like Workout, Fitness, Strength Training, Weightlifting, and Running sometimes make me cringe.  Don’t get me wrong, I have my workout room and I am down there about 60 minutes a day in an effort to maintain my 61-year-old “American’s Next Top Model” body (not)! But I can’t help but think about my parents, and my grandparents, especially Grandma Flossie, think of what we call fitness.  What would ..read more
