Miyuki size 10/0 Triangle beads (TR10) are three sided beads with softly rounded corners. The smallest of Miyuki's three sizes of triangle beads, the TR10 measures 2mm x 2.5mm with a hole size of .9mm. There are approximately 52 beads per gram and 12 per inch. TR10 beads can be used in a variety of beadweaving techniques including: peyote, brick, spiral and herringbone stitch. When strung with other beads, the triangular shape of the TR10 adds texture and shimmer as light hits their three sides. Spacer beads have been made, worn and traded in almost every culture in the world. Spacer or Heishi beads have evolved from being handmade from natural substances, such as shell and bone, into glass which is blown into long rods, and cut and polished. SPR22 spacer beads are the smallest and second most popular of the three sizes of Miyuki spacers. The size of this spacer makes them versatile and easy to use in multiple strand and bead embroidery designs. SPR22s are small and delicate enough to string with freshwater pearls and semi-precious stone rounds. Stringing them with beads of other shap ..read more

Cindy Holsclaw has dabbled in crafts for longer than she can remember, but she’s always been most fond of geometric structures. After many years of exploring these mathematical forms in modular origami, in 2006 she learned that these structures could also be made with beads. From then on, she was hooked! In 2009 Cindy started writing patterns for her own beading designs, and in 2012 she dove into designing and teaching beadwork full-time. With a background in academia and a doctorate in biochemistry, Cindy takes an analytical approach to her design style; she likes exploring different bead s ..read more

Born in New York City in 1955, I have spent much of my life mining whimsical, beautiful and often controversial subjects. As an artist, author and musician, I’ve been traversing the worlds of both spirit and mundane. As a visual artist using sequins, beads and found objects I try to fill empty space with beautiful expressions of these two worlds. I adore materials, playing with them, making them work hard and showing me how far I can push before they push back. Building with color, pattern, form, and substrates, all while communing with spiritual energies and entities, keep me searching thro ..read more
