If you hang out with me on Instagram then you already know that we got a backyard trampoline last week. In short, 10/10 recommend.
While we were out back jumping around, I remembered the moment — which feels like an eternity ago now — when I bought a mini rebounder.
I was working with a coach who specialized in healing hormones and helping women connect with their feminine energy. I had lost my period after years of restriction, over exercising, and binge eating and I was so committed to healing my body so I could get it back (in hopes of feeling well and having babies someday).

If you identify as a people pleaser, how does it REALLY feel for you in your relationships?
Maybe…
Like you’re sprinting on a treadmill you can’t figure out how to turn off?
Like you’re squeezing juice from a dried up orange (and you are the orange)?
Like you’re tap dancing on top of a house of cards and praying a breeze doesn’t come blowing through?
Like you’re walking over hot coals while trying to keep a smile on your face?
Like you’re tip-toeing on egg shells terrified one will crack?
Like you’re an actor staring in a movie scene, faking your personality in your very real life?

I HAVE GONE DOWN A RABBIT HOLE
Please don’t send help! The rabbit hole that I never want to make my way back out of is fantasy novels. Well, I’ve been told the type of fantasy novels I enjoy are actually called “romantasy.”
Call them whatever you want but I call them FUN.
Like most of us, I saw everyone and their dragon-loving mothers posting about the novel Fourth Wing. To be honest, I’ve *struggled* to finish books since having kids. I get to the end of the day and my focus is spent. It was an easier lift to re-watch a favorite episode of Felicity. As a TV lover and avid self-compassi ..read more

I LOVE A GOOD MANTRA! You too?
It can be such a powerful reminder of a conscious belief we are intentionally working to embody.
Write them on post it notes, add reminders in your phone, say them to yourself throughout the day. However you love to use mantras, these intentional reminders are awesome ways to reinforce our beliefs.
For example, let’s say that you’re working on experiencing more positive body image.
I love this for you!
So, you adopt the mantra: ⭐ All bodies are meant to change ⭐
What a fab mantra!
You’ve got a post-it note on your mirror and you smile in the morning while ..read more

It’s no secret that I love Nancy Myers! But today, I want to talk to you about one specific Nancy Myers’ film that quite literally changed my life…
It’s Complicated!
It came out in 2009 when I was in the height of my food, movement, and body image struggles.
The food scenes in this movie are second to none. But there is a scene in this film…
That unlocked something so powerful for me: A VISION FOR MY FUTURE SELF.
These friends sitting around, enjoying beautiful homemade pies, talking, laughing, connecting, being so vulnerable…
Truly, you can feel their ease, presence, and pleasure throu ..read more

HELLO AND GOOD MORNING TO ALL OF US OUT HERE PARENTING OUR INNER CHILDREN.
If I’ve learned anything about parenting it’s that parents need help!
When my firstborn kiddo became a toddler, I was overwhelmed by the role of toddler-parent and I was underwhelmed by my skillset for the job of toddler-parent. So, I started speed-reading as many parenting books and panic-listening to as many parenting podcasts as I could get my hands/eyes/ears on.
Here’s the Cliffs Notes version of what I learned:
Validate the feeling + create boundaries with the behavior.
Your kiddo is at a playdate and anothe ..read more

Hi! It’s me, Sim!
If Ken ever retires from his job “beach,” please consider this my formal application to take his place! ??♀️
We are on our annual family holiday trip to my favorite place in the world, the ocean. There is nowhere I love more than the being by the water. But not just any water… It’s got to be the salty, wavy, turquoise ocean water! It’s my biggest dream to live near the beach and every time I find myself lucky enough to be at the ocean the dream just gets stronger and stronger.
Do you have a dream like that — one you’ve had for most of your life that keeps sticking aro ..read more

If you struggle with beating yourself up when things don’t go perfectly, this story is for you.
Last weekend, Tim was in ATX having an awesome guys’ weekend. I was flying solo with the kids and honestly it was fun! I got to take Osh to activities that Tim usually goes to. I kept social plans at a minimum and cranked up the quality time with the kids. We ate dinner with my mom every evening. I slept around 11 hours a night, right in tandem with the babes. There were sweet moments that happened.
And then, there was Sunday morning.
We woke up, had breakfast, watched Sunday morning cartoons ..read more

Labor Day weekend has always felt like a bridge to me, from the end of Summer into the start of something new! It might be a sweaty ? 95 degrees here in Columbus, OH, but in my heart & soul it’s Fall ?
It felt like such meant-to-be timing that yesterday, fresh off of Labor Day weekend, was my first day fully back in my business. I’ve spent this week connecting with private coaching clients and planning all that’s ahead for Unmeasured (like the weekly LIVE classes officially underway as of this month ?).
At any transition in life, we have the chance to meaningfull ..read more
