From versatile separates to oversized silhouettes, here’s how I’m creating a spring capsule wardrobe that effortlessly combines style with ease. Oversized Outerwear I ..read more

{Image credit, from top left: One, Two, Three, Four, Five} Today, in celebration of International Women’s Day, I am highlighting a few of my favorite women owned and founded brands.  Searching for women owned brands has become a recurring theme as I’ve become more selective with the clothing items I add to my wardrobe. Women understand the importance of fit, comfort, durability, and versatility that we seek when shopping for clothes. A well thought out dress design can make you feel glamorous and yet ..read more

What’s New In My Spring Wardrobe

A few months ago, I did a huge wardrobe purge and donated several bags of clothing that no longer fit my personal style. Last month I turned 37 and decided to make a few changes to my closet. I felt that some of the pieces in my spring wardrobe no longer reflected the styles I gravitate towards most frequently. I’m a big advocate for curating a closet full of timeless pieces that can be worn time and time again. I prefer investing in quality items that will last over buying into arbitrary trends. This spring, I decided to be very intentional when shopping for new key pieces to add to wardrobe ..read more

Outfit Details: Dress / Sneakers {similar here} Lately I’ve been drawn to adding bright, happy hues into my spring wardrobe. My usual springtime staples are light, pastel colors but this season I find myself gravitating towards bold, playful hues that match the colorful array of blooms we have right now in Florida.  In the spring, I always shop for dresses that feel light and airy. I recently bought this flutter sleeve wrap dress which is both comfortable and lightweight. It’s the perfect option to wear with a pair of sneakers or casual sandals. I would recommend sizing up one size in ..read more

With Spring right around the corner, I find myself motivated to refresh our home with new organization systems and kitchen gadgets. I decided to start with our kitchen because it needs the most attention since that’s where we spend much of our time preparing meals and entertaining. I was thrilled to find this 5-pieces storage system from The Home Edit for less than $30! They’re great quality, stackable, and versatile. I also picked up this set to use in our kitchen as well.  Not a day goes by where I don’t use our air fryer for something – even if it’s just making toast for breakfast. We ..read more

I’m always eager to freshen up our home decor around this time of year for the fall season. Even though it’s still very hot here in Florida, adding a few faux pumpkins and spiced pumpkin scented candles at least makes it feel like fall is here. This year, I found several affordable fall home decor and entertaining items under $50 to welcome the new season. I like adding textures like cable knit blankets and woven pumpkins, as well as incorporating richer color tones of honey-yellow and rust. Our local Trader Joe’s has a great selection of autumnal florals and pumpkins of all shapes and ..read more
