Brie/Camembert cheese specifically, I know the mould rind is completely safe and edible but do we know if they provide any health benefits? I imagine they might contain some mushroom fiber, but online it's hard to look up any specific health benefits. submitted by /u/Mirror_Sound95 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I simply didn’t realize how much cheese you got from WSU pet can. Somehow I thought they were a bit bigger than a tuna can. NOPE. Excited to keep the others for awhile, but we opened the cheddar which is super tasty. Only problem is that when handling the cans I got several aluminum burrs in my fingers which really concerned me. If they’re on the outside of the can… I was going to email the site. submitted by /u/Mouseklip [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Starting the journey with St. Agur based on the popularity I’ve seen. To be honest, it’s a little underwhelming. The texture is firmer than I prefer, the flavor is very generic blue cheese nothing special, it’s a little on the salty side. I even let it thaw a bit to see if the flavor changes but still the same basically. The best blue cheese I had was at a random local shop in Belgium, I forgot where I got it and the name but it may have ruin other blue cheese for me since. The texture is very soft, melts in your mouth and not overly salty. There’s a sweet umami aftertaste which I haven ..read more
