Wow. What a year that was! Squeezing nearly 18 months of weddings into just 6 months due to the pandemic meant it was BUSY. But the best kind of busy. The parties, the hugs, the tears, the dance moves, the shots, the sunsets, the snow, the rain, the music, the laughter and most of all the love.
Weddings were back in a big way and I was soooooo happy to be right back in the middle of them.
I have to say a massive thank you to each and every one of my couples who have all been incredible throughout these very difficult times. Staying in touch, wanting to postpone r ..read more

Wow. What a way to finish the year. A stunning, intimate Christmas wedding at the beautiful Merrydale Manor. Bex & Andy had already had to move their wedding from the summer and when they messaged me a couple of months ago to say that they had decided to go ahead with their wedding, even with the restrictions limiting them to 15 people in total attendance, I was absolutely delighted. It’s been a shit old year and I felt so lucky that mine was going to end with a huge amount of positivity in the shape of their big day and at one of my absolute favourite venues too ..read more

I think we all know what sort of a year 2020 has been, so when Sarah & Ed told me that they were going ahead with their December wedding I was absolutely delighted. They made some changes to their day, naturally. Same church, but a venue switch that would be more suited to the kind of reception they wanted to have (only 15 allowed remember!) and it was perfection. Intimate, emotional, fun, a genuinely lovely group of people and I had an absolute blast!
I started off in the morning meeting Sarah and her bridesmaids at her Mum’s house in Bramhall and it was so much fun!&nb ..read more

Wow. A DECADE of Wedding Photography. Where did that time go?!?! This is a blog post I had planned to write and publish at the end of last year/start of this year…but I had an even busier end to 2019 and start to 2019, so didn’t quite get there! But it turns out there’s a bit more time to do these kinds of things at the moment, so here it is!
The downside of putting this together during lockdown, is that there are actually quite a few weddings from the last decade actually missing…my hard drive’s full of archived weddings are kept in storage, which obviously I can’t get to at the moment, so I ..read more

Where to start with this wedding?!?!? I met up with Amy & Rick waaaaay back at the start of 2016, so this big day was in my diary for a long time and the closer we got to it, the more I was looking forward to it! I knew these guys would be a lot of fun, but when they also brought on board Tom Harrington Films, Red Floral Architecture, Andy Murphy DJ, The Rush and of course, Colshaw Hall’s exclusive caterers, Barretts and my lovely friends from Your Ceremony, I knew it was going to be just perfect!
We’ve been very lucky with some incredible weather this summer and Amy & Rick’s wedding d ..read more
