This post is sponsored by adidas. Throughout my life I’ve found that my fitness routine has evolved. I’ve found new workouts that I love, ones that work better for me, group classes, videos, or simply followed along with a fad (Soul Cycle anyone?). The common thread has always been that I enjoy moving my body […]

This post is sponsored by adidas. Fall is in the air and as I think about it, thoughts of comfort come to mind. When I think about comfort and how it relates to my closet, I think about athleisure and how I prefer to style it so that it looks both effortless and slightly elevated. […]

Throughout my years of running I have come to learn that there is great joy in exploring trails in nature instead of just sticking to the pavement of suburbia. Not only do the trails offer less pressure to focus on time, most of them have great vistas along the way. Today I’ve partnered with adidas to share my top five trail running tips for beginners.

We recently returned from a camping trip to Death Valley National Park. It’s one of our favorite places to camp and now that we’ve been a few times I wanted to share some of the things we’ve learned along the way. Today I’ve teamed up with adidas to share our top 10 tips for camping in Death Valley National Park. If you’re headed to Death Valley even for a day trip, these are sure to come in handy.
Above all, be prepared. Gas stations, and potable water are few and far between. Be safe and bring your own supplies even if you are just going for the day. At ..read more

It’s been a few years since I’ve had a standard size dining space. Our old house had a much smaller area so anything aside from a small table and chairs was out of the question. Since we moved five months ago I’m finally able to start settling in. I like to take some time to feel out the space and decorate slowly so that the design evolves naturally over time and feels authentic for our family. Today I’ve partnered with Revival Rugs to share a peek at our dining room. Though it’s not finished yet, I’m really happy with where it’s at.

As someone who doesn’t usually get sucked into the hype of sales, you may find it odd that I’m writing this post. Before you let your mind get too far, know that while I don’t advise mindless consumerism, I do love a good deal, especially in the home decor space. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite sale picks for this weekend, as well as some tips for shopping them (Hint: you will need some restraint).

By the time late April or early May comes around I’ve already got a summer itch going. I am not a huge fan of the heat but I am a firm believer that being on the beach or poolside makes it all better. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite swimwear from my Minimal Closet. Some are tried and true pieces that I’ve had for years and others are newly acquired. Either way one of my favorite ways to dual purpose a one piece is to wear it as a bodysuit. Enjoy!

Wearing H&M Linen sleep shirt & silver claw clip.
You spend one third to half of your life in bed, so shouldn’t what you wear matter? As I age and sleep becomes more of a priority I have given more attention to what I wear for it. I have always loved my linen sheets but lately I have also been gravitating toward making sure my sleepwear is also made from natural materials. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites and as a bonus, some of them can be worn as regular clothing as well.
