There was a very basic issue requiring changes in doc comments of a method. I have fixed that issue and created PR against it. How can I get it reviewed and merged?

Trying to upgrade a .Net 4.6.1 package to .Net 6 I am getting an issue with System.Activities.Core.Presentation and System.Activities.Metadata packages both of these nugget packages don’t officially support .net 6 but trying to get a workaround
I need help with any ideas on 1. Any alternative to these packages which work 2. Or how to make these packages work even after .net 6 migration
P.S to give more content this is part of a custom activity/library for UIPath automation

Maybe this is a rant, maybe it's a desperate call for help, I don't know. I have been slamming my head against the wall for an entire month, fighting with my sysadmins to give me all the graph permissions that are available, and yet I have achieved NOTHING so far
So here's a bit of context: My company wants to have SOMETHING that allows us to send Teams Messages alongside emails to notify our users that an action needs to be taken for something inside our ERP.
So you know, we have a very simple SQL Server Database and a table containing all the addresses, the body, everything you basically ne ..read more

What is the recommended procedure for distributing WinForms design-/build-time only dependencies via NuGet on .NET 8, given the following software structure?
Main application (WinForms executable) - Provides interface types and controls, forms, ... as a NuGet package for plug-in developers
Plug-in extension (class library) - Consumes the NuGet package and uses those controls for its own dialogs / controls / ...
Problem:
When I package the assemblies inside the ref directory of the NuGet package, they are not copied to the output of the plugin extension (good), but they are not usable inside t ..read more

hi
i just want to know how much investing only in backend will cost my chances of hiring
i see a lot of .net jobs are full stack
i love backend and i don't want to work as a full stack developer
so how much do you think it reduces my job opportunities in .net world
i have searched a bit but an answer with some stats from someone who had invested more in job hunting would be nice
for example from 100 jobs in small and medium companies in Europe or US
how many are full stack and how many are just backend

What interesting ways have you leveraged messaging services? While it's common to utilize messaging libraries for data exchange between microservices, have you discovered any unique or unconventional uses for messaging services? I'm intrigued to hear about the various purposes you've explored beyond the typical communication patterns in microservices.
