Our tradition here: pasta on Wed. I made a quick marinara, getting 2 crash n burn cans of tomato paste off of the cellar pantry shelves, adding some spices, dried onion. I also have 6 previously baked off and frozen, Carando Italian meatballs, bought also on marked down, simmering away all day, which will add even more flavor to the sauce. Already smells good in here! I am serving this over penne that was also marked down, offering up Parmesan to those interested. A large tossed salad to accompany.
