We have not long returned from a four-day trip to Melbourne to attend the 30th year of AIME (the Australian Incentive and Meetings Event). This is an annual event for professional conference organisers, in-house event organisers, venue finders, and anyone involved in the conference and events industry. It was an awesome opportunity to network with industry peers, make connections with current and new suppliers from across the world, and be educated on what’s current, what’s new and future directions and trends in the industry. The ever-changing landscape of events in 2022 It was exciting to see the success of ‘Get Local’ held at the ICC in Sydney, in February 2022. The event aimed to get the business events community back doing what they do best: connecting, engaging, and meeting person-to-person. This was certainly achieved and done very well. As we head further into 2022 and the new Omicron variant spreads, we wonder what the future for events and living with COVID-19 holds. We are seeing some hesitancy in early delegate registration for events, as people appear to be waiting to see what is going to unfold. So, we ..read more

Now, as vaccination rates increase around the world and authorities are starting to open up cities to public gatherings, organisers are planning what they can do to ensure health and safety ..read more

As Australia continues to pick up pace along the road to recovery from COVID-19, it is very encouraging to see a positive momentum emerging in meetings, conferences and events. Our enquiries for event management services have definitely started to pick up and, after the ‘drought’ of face-to-face events in 2020, this is very pleasing to see indeed. Amidst further easing of restrictions in NSW and the continued rollout of the vaccine program nationally, last week we were delighted to host our first ‘in-person’ event for 2021. The 2021 Fertility and Pregnancy Healthcare Symposium was a sell out e ..read more
