Tested negative for yeast infection, still testing for STIs but haven’t had anything show up so far. I’m just in a sitting position, or casually walking I get horrible irritation that feels i hun and dry. I don’t wash with anything other than water, no soaps or anything like that. I saw someone on Instagram (spooniesaga if interested) is trying a vaginal micro biome test, which I have never heard of Does anyone else have experience with This symptom? What can I do about it? Is there any products that help elevate? I currently use a yeast infection topical cream if it gets really bad but other ..read more

Recommendations for sharp stabbing pain??️

I currently take codeine and paracetamol for pain. I can’t take NSAIDs because they’ve ruined my stomach lining, so I take opioids and analgesics only. It’s day 6 of my first period in eight months due to being on Norethisterone to stop my periods, and good LORD. The cramps, burning, pulling and pulsing are bad enough, but I’m starting to get new sharp stabbing pains that feel like my insides are being scraped by barbed wire, and I can’t even stand up straight. As I’ve already taken codeine for four days in a row, I’m trying not to take it, but paracetamol is doing diddly squat. Has anyone ev ..read more

Should I push for laparoscopy from new gyno?

I have been going to the same gyno for years and felt like they didn’t listen to my symptoms and they never provided me with possible ways to treat my issues, usually being very short with me and just saying I should take birth control for everything. They also seemed annoyed to even explain things when I asked questions. After a hospital visit due to severe cramps I went back and they just told me to explain why I went, and then told me to come back in two weeks and they’ll see about booking a laparoscopy. I felt like I wanted a second opinion so I saw a new gyno who explained everything, li ..read more

Oxycodone Side Effects

Okay I know that a lot of you are not receiving proper pain management medications and I may sound like a spoiled brat right now but I’m really struggling. I take oxycodone about twice a month. I save it as an absolute last resort to deal with pain when it gets out of control and makes me want to ? myself. However, the medicine makes me sooo dizzy, nauseous, shaky, and I have a hard time even walking around bc of the dizziness. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be eating more before taking it? Unfortunately I don’t usually have a lot of notice before taking it bc it’s an emergency situatio ..read more

Is it normal to have worse period cramps 6 weeks post laparoscopy?

I had laparoscopic surgery roughly six weeks ago. I basically had silent endo, and had the surgery for fertility reasons. Prior to the procedure, I had mild cramps at most during my period, however my last two periods since the laparoscopy have been pretty painful cramp wise. Is this normal? I thought by my second period post lap would be better, but it really isn’t. My husband and I are planning to do a FET this cycle, but I’m worried it’s too early bc my periods are more painful than usual. submitted by /u/kjkjkj18 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

my NP gyno told me that me wanting a hysterectomy wasn’t too extreme as long as i know i don’t want kids!!!! she validated me soooo much and im just so happy. she’s sending me to the MD to discuss exploratory to get a diagnosis/remove any endo, then once i turn 21 (so that insurance will approve) probably a hysterectomy! i feel like my concerns have FINALLY been validated :) we tried all different birth controls and orilissa and she understood when i didnt want to try the IUD or nexplanon since i already had issues with progesterone only options. if anyone in the DFW TX area needs a recommend ..read more

Getting a lap done by OON highly recommended (nancy’s nook) surgeon vs in network sorta ok surgeon?

hi everyone my gyno is recommending I get a lap surgery done to see if I have endo. The in network surgeon seems ok. I’m worried that she might miss endo (especially if i’m stage 1) There is another surgeon, from nancy’s list, but she doesn’t take insurance. I worry that if the in network surgeon says there’s no endo, the voice in my head will say “maybe she missed it.” However, if the nancy’s nook surgeon says there’s no endo, there wouldn’t be a doubt in my mind. submitted by /u/immrw24 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
