I'm a software engineer very new to Android/smart phones. If I want to go to a Linux command line I assume I must run a Linux terminal app. I tried a few and ran into what I assume to be permissions issue problems. I wanted to run a few simple Linux commands like cksum, move some non system files around from within the linux terminal as well as move files via a file browser app into a folder where the Linux terminal could access them.
