Monitor recommendation?

Need 2 cameras (cribs will be on different walls). Prefer one with a parent unit AND a wifi/app option. Right now I have the HelloBaby on our registry but I would like to have an app option for when I go back to work, in case we end up with a nanny not daycare. Nanit is not in budget. Around $200 would be ideal but could go a bit higher for a reliable unit that checks all the boxes. Good white noise reduction is a bonus. TIA! submitted by /u/amandakirkpatrick [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hair ties for kids

A rather silly question. How do you manage your baby’s hair? Our twin girls are 9 months old and have their hair going in their eyes. I tried putting clips but the other twin finds it fascinating to pull it off and put it in her mouth. So we are done with clips. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/Spare_Scarcity5227 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I am 13 weeks pregnant with di/di identical twins. This is my first pregnancy, and I am completely clueless on being pregnant, especially with twins. I am going to see the MFM tomorrow. Can yall think of any questions I need to/should ask her? I am going to ask her if the babies have an anterior or posterior placenta…. Any other suggestions of questions to ask? submitted by /u/Gottajibboo64 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi Non identical 3.5 yo boys, very different personalities and full of love. they ve a big brother whom they adore. i m not much of a milestone person,if they eat, sleep well, walk talk thats good enough. their existance is enough happiness to us. They are late in some , ok in other milestones. the one thing bothers me, twin a is a bit hesitant and not as independent as twin b. twin b climbs , jumps, repeats learns in a different phase than twin a. i sometimes find myself saying things like " do like your brother". it comes naturally but i try to avoid and encourage tein a as much as possible ..read more

Option of breech extraction?

Hi POMs! I am currently almost 20 weeks pregnant with di/di twins. I have been talking with my OB group about delivery and the OBs in this group do not all have the same philosophy regarding breech vaginal extractions. One of the seven doctors at my practice is comfortable with performing this. To make matters more complicated, my OBs share call with another group, and I have no idea if the OBs in the other group would offer a breech vaginal extraction. I’m aware I’m only 20 weeks pregnant. And there’s nothing I can do to control the positioning of my babies whenever it’s time to birth them ..read more
