Agents with the El Centro, California sector of the U.S. Border Patrol recently seized 450 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the fule tanks of a tractor-trailer. The street value of the drugs was estimated to be $540,000, accoring to the Border Patrol. The 31-year-old Mexican national driving the truck was arrested. For the fourth time this year, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration today announced it has removed four electronic logging devices from its list of registered devices. Removed were: CTE-LOG ELD ELD VOLT POWERTRUCKS ELD TFM ELD FMCSA said in a statement issued today, the agency placed these ELDs on the Revoked Devices list due to the companies’ failure to meet the minimum requirements established in 49 CFR part 395, subpart B, appendix A.
