Vodafone's Idea (VI's) mega Rs 18,000 crore follow-on public offer (FPO) was successfully subscribed before bidding closed on April 22. The FPO is part of the debt-laden telecom operator's broader plan to raise Rs 45,000 crore through debt and equity, and may help it challenge the duopoly in the sector. Wipro Ltd said net profit fell 8 percent to Rs 2,835 crore for the fiscal fourth quarter, beating estimates. The company reported a profit of  Rs 3,074.5 crore in the year-ago period. The software services company's revenue fell to Rs 22,208.3 crore in the three months ended March 31, according to an exchange filing on April 19. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has asked the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) to stop accepting inflows into funds that invest in overseas ETFs. This move comes a little over two years after the MF industry exhausted its $7 billion limit to invest in overseas stocks; a move that had such overseas mutual funds stop accepting money .
