Just got into collecting a couple months ago. I haven't found much while hunting. My wife went to the in-laws the other day and came home with all of this. The coins are from my wife's grandfather, who had passed years back, and my MIL had them stashed away. My MIL decided to gift them to us. My grandma passed away some time ago and divided her coin collection amongst the grandchildren. Only one post after this. Looks like these guys are under $50? When I googled for the Sacagawea coin, it auto filled with "Sacagawea cheerio" and I was like "what the hell is that supposed to mean?". Kinda crazy that some coin in a cheerios box would end up being worth much more. Was not expecting that bit of trivia. Might sound silly, but I never knew that the 1959-2008 US 1 cent coin had so much detail. The almost ghost-like shape of the statue of Lincoln shows just how much thought goes into the design of modern coins, and also where to give the features more and less definition.
