I absolutely love a night with friends, dining over wine, and talking and laughing for hours. It is good for the soul. It is nice to go out, but there is something more intimate, cosy and inviting about cooking at home and having your close ones over. This month I put on an intimate dinner at my home with a handful of friends. I have received a lot of questions regarding the details, so here they are:
I decorated the table with flowers, homewares and an abundance of candles, my husband and I cooked for 7 girls, and for drinks, we served the new 2012 Champagne Penfolds made in collaboration wit ..read more

I am very proud to be Australian, both personally and professionally! I have been in the fashion industry for nearly a decade (time flies!), and in that time it has been really rewarding to see our local designers grow and become internationally recognised.
I have always loved supporting emerging designers, so I am thrilled to be able to be involved with the BT Emerging Fashion Designer Award and help raise awareness and financial donations for Dress to Success Sydney.
Dress to Success Sydney is a charity I very much admire. They help disadvantaged women find employment through providing profe ..read more

The one thing I love about social media, is stumbling across stores and inspiring people from around globe. I have followed Tigmi Trading, a rug and homewares store for sometime now. If you don’t, get on board! Featuring a curated selection of rugs, homewares and objects, their aesthetic is always very beautiful and inspiring. Whilst I sit here typing this post, I just came across their ceramics section. Dreams.
When putting together a room, I am always drawn to a neutral palette of creamy warm tones. Here I styled some of my favourite pieces from Tigmi Trading within my home.

Now that Franco has come into our lives, I work a lot more from home. Over the past few months I have collected pieces to transform a home office for myself. A space which encourages and motivates me to work. During day naps and after Franco’s 7pm bedtime, it’s go go go.
I mixed a creamy palette back with a contrast of deep rosewood. I wanted to create a space which was light, airy, yet warm and elegant. This creamy textured Beni M’Rirt woollen rug from Tigmi Trading, gives a brighter feel to the room and helps separate the dark wood of the floor and furniture. The softness of the wool helps t ..read more

It is the day of your friends birthday, you just found an outfit (last minute) and then just realised you haven’t bought a present.*
*Story of my life
Buying gifts can be placed in the too hard basket. I absolutely love gifting people, but the thoughts that usually run through my head are: What do I buy them? Will they like it? Do they already have one of those? Ok, back to the drawing board.
Lets talk about a gift that never disappoints, a gift that is easy to buy. A bottle of wine. When an ideal night is at home, listening to music and drinking wine with my husband, then you know ..read more
