Gefertec has introduced the Arc80X series, its new generation of Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing capable of 3D Printing large parts using metal wire feedstock. At launch there are two versions of the Arc80X. A 3-axis version features a production system with an assembly space of 2 x 2 x 2m and can produce parts with a total mass of up to 8,000 kg. A 5-axis version can print parts with a diameter of up to 0.9 m and a height of up to 1.4 m, with a maximum mass of 500kg.
