The Easter school holidays look to be Sydney Airport’s biggest holiday period since 2019, with 2.4 million passengers forecast to pass through the terminals during the peak holiday period from 3 April to 23 April.
This represents a 90 percent recovery compared to the equivalent 21-day Easter holiday peak in 2019, and a 34 percent increase in passenger volumes during the 2022 Easter holiday period.
Domestic passengers are expected to surpass the 1.5 million mark, a 94 per cent recovery on the equivalent 21-day period in 2019, and a nine percent increase in the same period in 2022.

Jetstar has launched its newest Trans-Tasman route with JQ150, taking off from Auckland to Brisbane.
The four return services per week will carry almost 40,000 visitors a year to Brisbane, offering the opportunity to explore Queensland and its vibrant capital city, as well as providing direct access to 12 domestic destinations.

Boutique Queenstown hotel The Carlin is celebrating its first year in business, despite global tourism disruption and staff shortages.
