When the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog first arrived, my heart did a little flip flop for the Count My Blessings stamp set. The images are simply gorgeous. To make them easier to watercolor, I embossed them in gold. The gold was hard to capture on camera, but here you can see it better. Embossing also makes them easier to fussy cut. To watercolor the acorn, I used ink squished into the lid of my stamp pad and an aqua painter. I also did a watercolor wash on the cardstock behind the fancy foil.
