Hi Crafty Friends, Thanks for visiting my blog! Today I am sharing four get well cards I created recently. I have been needing lots of get well cards lately, so it was good to be able to add these four to my stash. To create my cards I used the “ March - Daffodil” 3D Embossing Folder from Lisa Horton’s A Year in Bloom Embossing Folder Collection. As I work my way through using these embossing folders I am trying to use different techniques. For these cards I applied the ink to the debossed parts of the embossing folder before running the folder through the die cutting machine. The c ..read more

Hi Crafty Friends, Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have another 70th birthday card to share today. I recently received the February release from Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott, which was the Surprise Inside Collection featuring two fun pop up die sets ... a house and a birthday cake. Of course I had to play with the pop-up cake die set straight away to create this fun birthday card. I love pop-up cards as most of you know! And a birthday cake pop-up should get plenty of use. I die cut the base from blue cardstock and then used the papers which were also available in the collecti ..read more

Hi Crafty Friends, Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using the Spellbinders Classic Pooh Collection.  This was a pretty quick card to make as I already had all the Pooh characters made and when I found this slimline patterned paper it was super easy. The “bouncing” sentiment is from an older Kindred Stamps stamp set. For the inside of my card, I took the matching patterned paper I used on the front of my card. I trimmed around the grass area and added this to the bottom of my card. I then added the balloon to the left side of the card, so that it was on both side ..read more
