No wonder they keep raising prices.

Drive home from work or the gym and every fast-food place is busy. The local Italian restaurant doesn't have an empty spot in the parking lot. The Dunkin in the morning has traffic leading onto the highway. McDonalds has 2 lane drive thru, both lanes are full. Chic-Fil-A always looks like it is giving away food. Everyone complains about the prices but seems everyone still too lazy to make food at home. Might as well keep raising the prices if you run these places. submitted by /u/Greenzombie04 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Make Food Menu Digital

In a restaurant, using physical menu cards means you have to reprint them if prices change. ? A good alternative is to create an online menu. You can print a QR code that customers scan to view the menu on their phones. ? This makes it easy to update prices and menu items whenever needed. If you're interested in setting up an online menu, please feel free to contact me. ??? submitted by /u/fadi096 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Delivery fee - to the driver or owner

Hi- My restaurant, a family owned pizza place, charges a 1$ delivery fee. They are new to the restaurant business. I drive my own car, pay for my own gas, and cover my own maintenance. We had a discussion last night where the owner said she’ll “look into who gets the fee and what the industry standard is”. Is it standard for small restaurants to charge a delivery fee and collect it instead of giving it to the driver? I was under the assumption it typically went to the driver to ensure a tip to cover gas and mileage. submitted by /u/steelsnake14 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
