Hey,
I’ve built a custom quiz app web template that can be used for elearning by quiz completion.
The app itself is a web app, and also comes with an iOS mobile app. Each app will be custom tweaked/themed to suit the product.
Think along those car license prep quizzes.
I’m curious to speak with content creators (question/quiz creators) to collaborate with me on creating tailor made exam prep apps. You provide the content, I provide the tech backend.
Feel free to DM or comment here if you have any ideas / questions.

I need to migrate 50.000+ course students to a new platform and I narrowed my choices down to these Teachable, Thinkific, LearnWorlds. Has anyone experience with both of these platforms?
What I am NOT looking for:
email marketing, because I already have my own newsletter
landing page, because I have my own landing page
Must haves:
no fees
coupons
certificates
affiliate marketing
nice to have:
self sign up of affiliates by sending them a link
automatic payouts
one-click checkout experience
Nice to have:
instalments for students for high priced courses
VAT handling
group invites (e.g ..read more

Learnsworld is an online learning platform that provides learners with access to various subjects, including academic subjects, professional development, personal growth, and skill enhancement. The platform offers interactive lessons, quizzes, and assessments to help learners track their progress. Additionally, Learnsworld provides a community for learners to connect with instructors and fellow students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
It could be used by course creators, I just thought I should share.

Hey ID's and Rise users if you clicked this post.
TLDR: Rise has limited block options, considering to build a embed library for custom blocks.
Will you find it useful? If so what blocks would you love to see added?.
I recently had to build a course for Grade 12 computer science and immediately ran into limitations with the available block options.
My solution was creating these 2 custom blocks with Embeds:
Markdown with syntax highlighting (colour-coded code), since Rise code blocks are very basic.

I am new to e-learning and I have to do project with xAPI for univeristy. The project is actually to research what is xAPI and make a small demo web application that will include xAPI. Can someone explain what usecases of xAPI is in web application? Do I create frontend and backend of my web application course that will store user data into LRS with xAPI? I don't need database then? For example I should make quiz on my web application that will store information in LRS with xAPI statments? I am little confused because all tutorials on youtube use Storyline for courses and not applications

In reference to Storyline 360 enhanced word translation. (https://access.articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-360-Enhanced-Word-Translation).
Is there a tool which can take enhanced docx as an input, and a target language say "es" and then AI language translate into a target language and give out the translated docx file ?

Hi. Is there a platform to sell digital content (any, not just courses) with something simmilar to BackOffice, offering processing through PayPal but with their own account?
It's of no use to me to integrate my own PayPal account, get my funds retained for 20 days and then PayPal deciding to block my account after processing $300. And creating Bussiness accounts for single-member LLC from abroad is impossible, since it asks for an US address for the owner.
Or alternatively, one which enables the same kind of processing through Stripe, with their own Stripe account. Teachable also offer this ..read more

I'm considering doing a small online course - beginning with live webinars (probably zoom is easiest) and maybe having stand alone videos available for purchase or maybe people being able to schedule 1 on 1 live consultations. This is entirely a side hustle and I'm anxious about putting a lot of money into this. I'd love any suggestions for platforms to look into. Thanks.

hi, sorry if this doesn't belong here ive recently become very interested in eLearning apps and I would love to talk about them. Nobody wants to talk about learning though so i thought id share here!
Apps
I am currently using Duolingo, Brilliant, Elevate, Unity Learn, and of course Youtube.
Websites Ive used in the past that i enjoy are EdX, Udemy, and Coursera (in that order).
My learning style
I have trouble focusing and I am a horrible test taker but I'm many years past University and have zero intention of ever setting foot in a class again. Self-paced has been phenomenal for me after b ..read more

So, for someone new to this model of creating resources, what should I know?
Any advice in how to tackle this besides a generic Google Search?
