Proud to announce that I've finished the tenth entry in my Prehistoric Wild series of short stories. For those unaware, Prehistoric Wild is an anthology series of short stories of my own making set in various fossil formations across the world throughout the time of the dinosaurs. This one takes place in the Posidonia Shale in Early Jurassic Austria, 180 million years ago. In it, a group of Stenopterygius must swim to their breeding grounds in shallow water while evading a pod of hungry Temnodontosaurus.

Just off the bat this isn’t at all some “oh god they’re nerfing Rex” type of thing.
The most powerful and most menacing predators we have now will run from a kill from smaller predators if they just think it isn’t worth the fight. We see this all the time. Some eagles can, under some circumstances, chase away much larger predators from a corpse. I have no problem believing even something like a T.Rex will just walk away from certain scenarios like the one depicted here.

Need advice on a lit review I am currently working on about dinosaur reconstruction and how they’ve changed over time (new technologies, representations in media, etc). I am at the planning stage but have ideas of what to tackle.
My questions so far are what case studies do you think I can include and what species could be outliers of this review?
I have Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor in mind because of how much their representation has changed over time. What others are up there with these 3? Any advice is welcome.
