ScotlandHour May 2019 – Waters of Scotland As many of you will know 2020 is the Year of Coasts and Waters for Scotland. With 10,000 miles of coastline, 790 islands, 31,460 Lochs, 137 miles of canals, 11 major rivers with many more smaller ones we undoubtedly have some of the best coast and water in the world. Walking In Scotland Scotland has a wonderful outdoors ( the rain certainly helps to get things growing ) so we thought this the perfect opportunity to spend an hour talking about walking in Scotland, be it hills and mountains like the 282 Munros that we have across the country, or trails like the West Highland Way, the Great Glen Way or the Moray Coast Way. Winter Wonderland Winter in Scotland.  Stunning sunsets and sunrises.  Crisp days allowing frosty walks with both cities and rural areas sparkling in the winter sunshine in a light that is truly atmospheric.  Long nights with a dram beside the fireside.
