Burnaby athletes shine at the 2023 Canada Winter Games Athletes from Burnaby made a strong contribution to Team BC’s record medal haul at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island. The BC contingent won a record 103 medals – 42 of them gold – at the 2023 Games, topping the province’s previous  high of 88 medals won at both the Halifax 2011 and Prince George 2015 Canada Winter Games.
