You know me by now. I really enjoy volunteering and I do ‘muck in’ when is about helping others. So when I had a chat with chef Francesco Mazzei a few weeks ago (as I wrote about him for Italian Gourmet website) and he mentioned a forthcoming fundraising dinner, I jumped at the opportunity to help out.
The cause
Francesco has recently started a collaboration with The “Bambino Gesù of Cairo Association” which seeks to promote social solidarity by providing social and medical assistance, especially to pregnant women and abandoned children or children coming from poor families.

Or how to feature my underwater photos on my blog
Why a reef safe sun lotion? I might have mentioned once or twice or a thousand times that I am obsessed with scuba diving, an activity I have been doing it since the late 90s. It is what kicked off my passion for the oceans and the conservation efforts of many charities (including MCS).

Since then I have become a huge fan and have recentry tried some of their custom Earl Greys including the Duchess. I love it so much, I thought I would spread the word. It’s not easy to source, and mainly sold wholesale, however Teas Direct offer the option to buy in small quantities and provides a quick and eas ..read more

Diving where cocoa and coffee beans are grown ?
This is an idea that I’ve had for a while. And to be brutally honest, I have pitched it to quite a few websites and magazines. Thinking that it would be such a cool subject to write about. But where did my idea come from?
A couple of years ago I was invited to a tasting with a new boutique chocolate brand called Firetree after stumbling upon one of the ..read more
