Hey everyone!
I’m back on YouTube today showing a process video for 15mm wax seals. Did you know that there are 3 sizes of seals?
I’ve used Fancy Pants Bloom collection to complete my layout. I’m not usually a floral person, but I love this collection. I love fussy cutting out the flowers, as it gives my layout some dimension when used with foam pads.

Thanks for watching. Until next time!

Here is my final layout using Simple Stories Just Beachy Collection for April. I have loved this collection so much and it has been perfect for my holiday photos.
I had a small amount of the striped 12×12 Take it Easy paper left over so I used it to border the sides of the layout. I used two whole sheets from the 6×8 paper pad as a large photo map. I matted the photos also on papers from the paper pad. Having positioned them, I started to build up the layout around them. I added the Come Sail Away tag (from the 12×12 Tag sheet) to the right of the photo. This was so perfect for Cruising ..read more

Hello Magpies. Amy here sharing not one but two newly created layouts with you today. This month I’ve been playing with Simple Stories new travel collection called Pack Your Bags. It’s a bright and colourful collection full of all the travel themed ephemera you could wish for. There are also some hearts and flowers too.
For this layout I was inspired by the city tour bus die cut. I knew it would go perfectly with some photos of my family on a Liverpool bus tour taken last summer.
I used the red patterned paper along the left hand side because I thought the colour would match the red bus. I a ..read more

Hi Jackie here, with my 2nd blogpost for this month using Echo Park – Winnie the Pooh collection.
When I looked at my batch of photographs that I wanted to scrap and wonder how I could fit all of them into my album, especially when I want to include them all, well my solution was to add pocket page protectors.
The first page to start this section in my album, can be found here
In this blogpost I will be sharing a few of the photographs from when we enjoyed meeting Pooh & Friends in Magic Kingdom.
I decided to use page protectors from my stash these are 6” x 12” – full pag ..read more

Hello Magpies, Helen here!
I have a second layout using the 49 & Market Kaleidoscope page kit for you. I’ve taken the elements from the 2nd suggested page and made my own layout with a few wax seals added in.
The wax seals I’ve used are a mix of exclusive ones designed by Sarah for Hey Little Magpie and the lovely open rose.
As always, I have a process video for you which you can find here.
Until next time.

Hello everyone,
Here’s my latest layout using the ‘Wherever’ collection from 49 & Market. I think I’m running out of words to describe this collection, it’s perfect for all your outdoor photos & has an amazing array of ephemera!
EXCURSION
I started this layout by cutting a brick shaped pattern from cardstock & painting it using Nuvo Drops Metallic Copper Penny. I deliberately left the colour to dry unevenly to match the collection’s style.
Using cardstock pieces from the collection to layer behind the photo, I placed the brick pattern on the left.   ..read more

Hello Magpies,
I’m back today sharing a layout using the newest Pinkfresh collection Picture Perfect. It’s full of Pinkfresh’s signature colours & beautiful florals & fabulous embellishments.
I chose all the blue & yellow tones, out the collection & set about making a grid page. I love a grid & all the possibilities & directions it can take your page. I used Cherish Today patterned paper as my background & added a white cardstock 9×9″ centre piece to add all my elements onto. I added some Salvaged Patina oxide ink to peek out behind the embellishments.

Hi Magpies. Amy here. Today I’m sharing a layout using one of my all time favourite and reliable designs, the classic 3*2 grid layout.
I’m using the new travel collection by Simple Stories that is called Pack Your Bags.
To add a twist to this classic layout design I used Hey Little Magpies stamp die set. I cut patterned papers using a medium sized die to make stamp edged shapes.
I love that the die sets add some embossing details too. To two of the patterned papers I added my photos. I made them smaller than the stamp shaped patterned papers so that the paper frames the photos.

Hey Everyone, happy Sunday
I hope everyone is ok, and are finding time to craft! I’m back on the blog and YouTube with another video showcasing a 15mm wax seal and Sarah’s fabulous fern dies.
I used the 49 & Market Kaleidoscope collection to complete a layout of Dexter. I wasn’t going to buy this collection until I saw Helen’s layout, then I just couldn’t resist. I finished my layout, then decided that Sarah’s dies would really complement the layout. I also used the 15mm Open Rose Wax Seal, which I love.

If you’re considering what collection to use with bright sunny photos then Simple Stories Just Beachy is the perfect Collection. The colours are really bright and colourful, almost tropical. I am sharing my second layout using it for some photos from Australia last year, the bright yellow I thought may be a problem in my photo, but it works perfectly with this collection.
As usual I had multiple photos to scrap so I chose to make them 3 ” square to fit them all in. I used the remainder of my 12×12 Take is Easy paper and ripped both edges and used it as a start point at the top of the layout ..read more
