By Erika Mathieu Sunny South News Milk River RCMP advised travellers of potential delays and disruptions on Jan. 28, the approximate one-year anniversary which marked the start of the demonstration at Coutts border crossing which led to the temporary closure of the crossing in early 2022. The RCMP media release warned of possible disruptions between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on HWY 4, which impacted some travellers and the traffic flow from Lethbridge to Coutts. Coaldale opened the weekend with a huge 9-7 win on Friday over Medicine Hat and dropped a 5-4 contest on Saturday against Cochrane. Saturday featured a high-scoring affair as the Copperheads raced out to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Peyton Twigg and Rylan Bruns. U11 Tier 3 It was a two-game weekend for the U11 Tier 3 Cobras as they looked to continue their winning ways. First up was a trip on the road on Friday night to take on Pincher Creek.
