Hello,
We are an ecommerce store using Shopify as our platform. We are about to purchase a second brand and increase our SKU count and monthly order volume significantly.
We do our own fulfilment but are worried about picking errors increasing with more SKUs coming online.
We are therefore looking for a software solution that will allow our pickers to scan each items barcode when packing orders to ensure that the correct items are being picked.
Can anyone recommend any software and/or hardware that integrates with Shopify for this purpose? Shipstation is the only thing I've been able to find ..read more

Hey everyone!
Not sure if this is the right community to post this on, but I am looking for a specific website. I would like a very simplistic website where I can upload a few pictures for my audience. They can scroll through (next, previous) + have links added somewhere, and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. It is for promotional purposes.

Motorcased.com
Posted before and got some great feedback.
Would love to know people's thoughts on the new page after I made some key changes incuding:
Making it clear from the header what the product is
Highlighting its handmade
More images
Directing to a product page
More explanation and text about what the product is.
Removing buy now button from header so people must read or see more about the product.

Hey r/ecommerce,
I'm currently running an A/B test on my client's specific product page, and early results are showing a promising 30% increase in conversions (though I anticipate it might settle at a lower rate). However, I've noticed a significant drop in Average Session Duration—from 2 min 20 sec to just 1 min 10 sec. While the higher conversion rate, and lower session duration suggests users are finding what they need faster, I'm concerned about the SEO implications. Could this shorter session duration signal to Google that the page quality has declined, potentially affecting the search r ..read more

I don’t do e-commerce myself, but I am developing some APIs that could help sites understand users, choose products to upsell, etc. So I would mostly be aiming for people who do some level of coding. Is this the subreddit for that audience, or is there a better place I should look? Thanks!!

Just heard from my employer that they are extending my contract which ends next week. Spoke to a friend- he works for a niche consumer goods brand (Maple syrup & candies). He says they have room for further expansion and if I am willing to buy wholesale from them and sell online/ distribute locally. They also have few products that have good 15% gross margin.
I have $4K savings and interested in doing however the company currently have their own listings in Amazon, Etsy & iHerb. Would it be feasible to compete with the brand own listings on these websites or should I try to list on ot ..read more

Does anyone have recommendations on an app or software that integrates with Shopify to transfer inventory status through an API? Or is this something I would need to consult a Shopify developer?

I’m in looking into e-commerce apparel, and I’m curious of people’s opinions of the pros and cons of catering to children’s clothing versus adult apparel. Which is more competitive/saturated, which is easier/harder to market, which has better margins, which has higher return rate, which has better supplier networks, etc.
I’d love to hear thoughts. Thanks!

I am evaluating the possibility of setting up an online business selling high-end interior decoration items. I will source the items from different countries and sell them online. I have a few contacts who sell high-end interior decor items in these countries. I'm not a designer so I'm seeking advice from any professionals in this field. Is this a feasible idea? Or is this a recipe for disaster? I only plan to sell high end items as I dont want to compete with box stores.
