Hi all New to sharepoint but have some long winded work to do/cover. Now I have a problem I cannot fix. When people in my team want to copy a document in sharepoint, they simply click the 3 dots and click copy link. Or they hover over it and click copy link. Now when they do this and then paste it somewhere else, the document is called the same ie sharepoint.doc.bank document but when I do it it copies the entire sharepoint url so it comes out as https://owendrive/sharepoint/bankdocument etc.How do u fix this so I can copy and paste a link that is the correct document name and not the entire ..read more

Hello Reddit, I have a support ticket with my company. A chapter experiences the issue where the empty folder structure remains at the original location after moving folders in SharePoint Online. This is an intermittent issue and only happens with certain folder moves (not all). I have submitted a support ticket with Microsoft but was unable to recreate the issue to capture the network traffic for analysis. I worked out a process that I think a lot of you might find useful. I have wanted to be able to have an easy method to create and reuse page templates, but the methods I have seen are overly difficult and lack flexibility. I put together some instructions on how you can have one source site for page templates from which you can kick off a "for a selected item" flow for any page. The Flow simply copies the page over to the target site, sets the name and title, and if you want sets it as the home page, then publishes. Really hoping someone can help. I need to add a link to a Sharepoint page that goes to a specific page of a PDF (stored within a seperate library in Sharepoint). I've tried the #page=** but for some reason it keeps taking me to the library that the PDF is stored, not the PDF itself. I don't know if it's relevant that the URL's don't end in .pdf? I would like to ask how I can delete a Calendar View in SharePoint List? Usually I can delete them by clicking "Edit current view". But for Calendar Views, there is a different screen with no delete option.
