Hello, I had my egg retrieval April 3rd. During stims and prior to the egg retrieval the clinic counted 22 follicles, but were only able to retrieve 10 eggs. Of the 10 eggs, 9 were mature and of the 9 only 3 fertilized (ICSI used). I was told the 3 fertilized eggs had a 25% to 30% chance of making it to embryo stage. Unfortunately a week later I got a call with the nurse saying the fertilized eggs grew slowly all week, and then all arrested/ stopped growing the last day. I am in bed depressed. I am crying while writing this. I have been beating myself up for every little thing I have done during transfer day that has lead me to another failed transfer. I want to hear all the super stories. The woman that ate junk food during the transfer and it worked. The woman who carried her toddler or a heavy laundry basket and it still worked. A couple who had sex and it worked… Someone who had a fall or someone who was in a car accident and it still worked. Hi IVF Warriors, My husband and I decided to get off the IVF roller coaster today. Yesterday we received the news that our FET did not take, and the previous embryo did not survive the thaw. Before that happened, I miscarried. Personally, I cannot endure another round mentally, emotionally, or physically. My first FET was scheduled on April 1st but has been cancelled due to tiny little spot of fluid in my uterus. It was a natural cycle lining was fine 8.2mm and hormones were fine as well. Then I moved forward, it was hard to have our first transfer cancelled but it happens… Yesterday my new cycle begun and it was also my follow up appointment with my doctor.
