Greetings Friends! So, about 3 weeks ago we all got Covid (except hubby. He skated by without it thank goodness!) Started with my 3 year old. He was perfect; high energy level with a mild cough. My 6 year old got it. He had a cough and runny nose but overall energy level seemed okay. Then I got it. And I was laid out for 3 days. It takes 14 steps to get from the bed to the kitchen counter and by the time I got there, I was so exhausted I had to drag myself back to bed. So getting out of bed, even a little bit was out of the question. Coupled with a sore throat, extreme sinus blockage, coughin ..read more

Welcome friends! It's been a minute since my last post. It's also been one of my New Year's Resolutions to blog more. I love doing it but life has been so busy. Now that the holidays are over and I got all my decorations put away yesterday, I feel like I can finally start with all the things I have floating around in my brain. First thing is blogging!  Remember the last post where my dad teased me with this pic? Yeahhhh, when I actually got my hot little hands on all this Barbie goodness, I was overwhelmed (in a good way!) That bin of dolls is a lot deeper than it looks. That was not ALL ..read more

Hey there friends! It's back! My PC is finally back! And the repair shop was able to save all of my data. Yep, they're rockstars. So all my dolly pics are still intact and I have an external hard drive on the way so everything will be backed up in real time. (MOST of my files were saved on the cloud but there were a few I was really worried about!) So now that I can get back to blogging, I'd like to show you my other birthday present from my dad. I present, Lucille Ball! And when I seen her, I HAD to have her! Being a huge Lucille Ball fan, I have a few other I Love Lucy dolls. Lucy and E ..read more

Hi Friends, It has been a hot minute since I have posted. Why? MY COMPUTER DIED. It will boot up fine but when it hits the desktop, the picture appears but nothing else. Ugh. So I finally just started bringing my work computer home with me so I can at least do things while mine is out of commission. So I apologize! Can you all believe that it's October already? Me neither. Maybe because I wanted to have this post up mid-September. But the same weekend I saw "it" was the same weekend my PC died. At the time I didn't care. Because I got to see THE BARBIE TOTALLY THROWBACK MALIBU TOUR TRUCK! I d ..read more

Welcome Friends! It seems that the weather has turned quickly hasn't it? We have been over 100 degrees F (38 C.) and then at the snap of a finger the temp dropped to the low 70's F. (21 C.) Brr! Not cold to some but after you have been sweltering all summer then the 70's feels like the Arctic.  So while I was in the house chillin' out in the air conditioning I realized that there was two items that I had never ID'd. A couple of Barbie Horses! I got these horses so long ago from my awesome dad (I like to affectionately call him my Barbie obsession enabler) lol! When I got them from him the ..read more

Welcome Friends! I hope you all have been well! I am in denial that school is ready to start up again and the weather might (unfortunately) be changing. I'm a summer girl for sure.    This post has been a while coming because I was waiting on the delivery of some special items. First, I had to wait for these peeps to arrive. My dad teased me with this picture back in mid July. And I could NOT WAIT to get my hands on them! Because.......VINTAGE SKIPPER! So he brought them to me at the end of last month when they came down for a visit. She is a true vintage, easy to tell by how ..read more

Welcome Friends! It's summer so that means garage sales are getting up and running again! And that means...new dolly fun finds! Well, it means that there are new fun finds that my dad gets for me because I never seem to find anything. Garage sales are better over where my dad lives anyway. Cheap prices made to sell, a variety of everything, all that good stuff. Oh well. But, he brought me a bag of goodies. Let's see whats inside! A very pretty butterfly doll. This is Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess Mariopsa doll. There is a knob in back to fold her wings down and they create a ski ..read more

Greetings Friends! Has your summer been as busy as mine has? I think I'm even busier now than before the school year ended! As soon as school was out the hubby and I went to Hawaii (without the children!) We had a great time and the kids had a fun time with the babysitter for the first half and their grandparents for the second half. Then we spent all the next week on the boat because it's been hotter than Hades here. Has our weather made national news? (Oregon and Washington being hotter than Phoenix Arizona?) Lots of time at the lake because it's in the mountains...and it's 10 or more degre ..read more

Hello again friends! Back again with more of the goodies that I got last summer. Because what a better way to social distance and quarantine than to stay home and play with dollies? :) (Well, that and spending time with my family on our boat on the lake.) So as I mentioned in the last post I brought all the rest of the Monster High dolls home with me, missing limbs or not. And all of these pictures are post-spa day. I had an entire sink FULL of Monster High dolls. They were super dirty and needed baths as noted by some of the before pictures in the last post! Let's take a look! First, some ..read more
