The Government of Canada has tabled their response to a petition that called for the legalization of suppressors and it’s exactly what you thought it’d be. The sporting goods chain announced the closure of all 12 locations across Canada this morning Wholesale Sports, a sporting goods retailer in western Canada has announced the closure of all locations this morning. Tactical Imports has provided a much-desired update on the much-anticipated Type-81 rifles, and it’s good news all around Tactical Imports has announced, via their Facebook page, that the Type-81s are on their way. According to the post the rifles have passed inspection. Notes of the inspection were also shared, including 30 guns selected at random with no aesthetic problems identified, no stoppages after 450 rounds through the rifles, and that the production adhered to Canadian standards without deviation. A memo released by the RCMP has declared that 80% lower receivers for AR-15 rifles are prohibited because they can be “adapted for use” in prohibited M-16 rifles. Incomplete “80%” lower receivers for AR-15 rifles have been prohibited, according to a recent memo issued by the RCMP.
