I want to fully custody of my son, not sure if I’ll win. My son’s father got a DUI in February, after getting drunk and threatening to hurt himself. So, my sister legally adopted two kids. She had this ex boyfriend who was a piece of garbage really, and he popped back up years later and messaged her. Long story short my husband is an addict and it definitely is much worse than I ever knew. He was arrested in January for DV and a felony drug charge and has 5 duis and multiple drug paraphernalia charges (40+ easily with traffic). Since we split I have learned he does crack Xanax and heroin for sure (definitely smoking and I suspect shooting) and also suspect meth. Hi everyone, we recently changed a custody order. We were going to go to trial but were able to come to a settlement (before a judge). However when we received the new custody order, it does not match what was said in court. This is so frustrating! I am very suspicious of my exs lawyer who wrote this new order. This has actually been a pain for me. I have had troubles in the past trying to get my name added as the father on my child's birth certificate and I'm trying to clarify this misunderstanding. 2 years ago I had tried to add my name as the father to my child's birth certificate.
