I have a 2015 Victory Cross Country and am thinking about installing the Guard Dog keyless ignition system with the key fobs. If I do this, I would like to buy a new cheese wedge for the ignition side without a key hole. Can the right side wedge work on the left side? Are there replacement wedges one can buy without the dimples and the key hole? Let me start off by saying I do not have a VV, but rather a buddy of mine who's a mobile stereo tech at a local shop that's helped me extensively with my installs asked if I could reach out to the forum to see whats possible for the Vision's as far as what size speakers/adapters are being used in the various locations - front, tour pack head unit etc. And what amps are being used. before i continue, i know im a jack ass and should have seen it, trust me i nknow im am jackass,... i got gas and was gettingtready to hit the road and as i took off i hit that cement pole and it hit my shifter which broke my shaft..lol my shift shaft, and all the expensive oil i just bought and put into my bike oozed out anto the ground. So from what i have gathered so far, the shift shaft is attached to the shift ratchet (except in my case its broken off and is marked with a red arrow)... Nice to find a Victory-specific forum of some size. I have ridden Japanese and German bikes since 1980, with one costly foray into HD-land, a 1980 shovelhead FLH. I loved the ride but swore never to own another American V-twin after that experience. But… I could not resist the price on a slightly tatty ‘04 Touring Cruiser that came up locally in March.
