I’d like to discuss a topic which occurred to me recently. In many pieces of media, especially video games, AK esque rifles are often used to represent “handcrafted” or “scrap” guns. Hi all!! I am new to the group. Just looking for recommendations for pistols/calibers that would be most effective for wildlife in the Adirondack mountains. I am going on a weekend trip where we canoe out to our planned site and live off the land for a bit. This is not for hunting purposes, but more specifically for bear encounters as we have had a couple in the past. Rifles are out of the option. I dont plan on doing many transactions going forward- but in the past have done several private transactions both ftf (when I lived in states where it was legal- I always validated legal status by CHL or Bill of sale. Ive also done several state to state transactions while always shipping to only 01 FFL. Two questions- Am I understanding that these types of sales will now be illegal once the rule is effective?
