Hi everybody,
I'm looking for an alternative to Poe, which allows to create custom chats with an added knowledge base and the ability to use different language models - especially Claude (opus).
I'm asking because Poe is running pretty unreliable lately and I don't want to hope for a fix but continue working on my projects.

What do you think? From article: It's determined by your dataset, nothing else. Everything else is a means to an end in efficiently delivery compute to approximating that dataset. Then, when you refer to "Lambda", "ChatGPT", "Bard", or "Claude" then, it's not the model weights that you are referring to. It's the dataset.

This just dropped. Appears to be a new robot (Astribot S1) from a Chinese company I haven’t heard of before - Astribot (Stardust Intelligence?) headquartered in Shenzhen. They’re claiming full automation at 1x speed in this vid with no teleoperation. Amazing if true. The last bit of the vid would suggest at least some mimicking? Nevertheless, it demonstrates incredible dexterity.

So the pace right now is just insane and makes it seem like AGI and functional multi-purpose robots will be everywhere by the end of next year.
On the other hand, the data used to train LLMs is reaching exhaustion and synthetic data seems like a VERY poor substitute. From my point of view, Intelligence is more a product of architecture rather than brute force learning, although a certain threshold of complexity and quantity of connections is required to make that architecture "work". "Solving" that problem sufficiently to create an AGI could still take a while. The Transformer architecture wa ..read more
